Spacious 5 BR, 3 BA Classic Cottage in North Shores. Relax on your screened porch or deck overlooking the Rehoboth-Lewes Canal. This one level home is located in coveted pool and tennis community and is a short bike ride to the beach, the Gordon's Pond State Park and it's picturesque bike trail. Located on Anchor Road between Cardinal and Robins Lane, just far enough away from crowded areas to be peaceful and quiet. Pets are also permitted with fee so you can bring the entire family. Number of dogs & breed restrictions may apply. Guest pays a $210 cleaning fee for rentals on off-season. Also offers outdoor shower, WiFi and 3 off street parking spaces. Guests pay a $100 per week Amenity Fee for rentals between 5/23/26 through 9/5/26.
We accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover Credit Cards and eChecks for your initial deposit. We also accept personal checks for final payments. Final payments are due 30 days prior to your check-in date. NOTE: Any payments within 30 days of arrival require to be in certified funds or by credit card. You will be provided a link to a Guest Portal where you can securely make your payments online.

  We’ve stayed here before and at several others but 71 Anchor is my favorite I almost hate to admit that for fear of it making it harder to reserve. I would like people to know not to be afraid to use this place in the off season as it is very comfortable and if you get weather that isn’t good for going to the beach there’s lots of room to visit or play games with the kids. I also want to give a lot of credit to Kim at Berkshire Hathaway whom we rented through. She was great and went well above and beyond to make sure we were going to have a great stay. She even called us the day before to ask if we had any questions or concerns. Not a text or email a good old fashioned call. The place is great we will be staying here again. And also be going through Kim at Berkshire Hathaway

  This beautifully located, poorly maintained property which we have been renting for more than 10 years hit bottom this year. The decaying land overlooking the canal was under a foot of water when we arrived and became a festering swamp through the week making it impossible to enjoy the backyard, the extensive deck, the outside shower and the screened porch. The stench was disgusting.

  Love this place, location is great and the price is reasonable just wish it was available whEn we come back in June. It fits our family needs. Like I said we only wish we could have it every time we come. Really hate to give it a good review as it will only make it harder for us to get it but you definitely deserve a great review

  We have rented this property several years. The home has not had any interior updates in furnishings for several years. The Adirondack chairs in the yard literally fell apart this year. The property manager had them replaced. Some of the interior chairs in the porch need repaired

  We love the location of the house on the canal with a wonderful view of the wild marsh, but the house and furnishings are a wreck.

  We have stayed in several places in the North Shores area and this is by far the most favorite. The canal in the back is peaceful while laying on the hammock. And as for the rental itself it suits us very well. Would rather a couple of the rooms had king size beds but the beds that were there were comfortable. The kitchen dining area was very modern and nice to sit around the table and talk or play cards. While on vacations we don’t normally cook but we may warm up leftovers was very happy with the place and already have it booked for next year. And was very disappointed that it’s already been rented out for the the week we come in June
