This first floor bay front apartment on Lewes Beach is perfect for your vacation! The living and dining areas are directly off of the screen porch which will become your home away from home. Sit on the porch in the morning and take in the sounds of the seagulls making their rounds and then end your night in the same spot catching the colors of the setting sun. The two bedrooms, one with a queen, the other with a set of twins will sleep 4 very comfortably. Shared washer and dryer with the upstairs unit.

The property must be occupied for the entire rental period by the Guest signing the Lodging Agreement (Responsible Guest), and all occupants of the Property shall be supervised by the Responsible Guest. The Responsible Guest must be at least 25 years of age. If the party is made up of unrelated individuals (a group rental where the Responsible Guest is NOT the legal guardian/parent of any other guests), ALL guests occupying the property must be at least 25 years of age.

Guests must choose to purchase a $70 Vacation Rental Damage Insurance policy covering $3,000.00 in accidental damage or pay a refundable security deposit of $2,000.00. Policies of a lesser amount are not acceptable. This is an additional fee that will NOT be included on VRBO.

We accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover Credit Cards for your initial deposit. Final payments are due 30 days prior to your arrival date, and will be automatically charged to your card on file if not paid prior to the due date. If you’d like to make a payment with a personal check or eCheck, please contact your agent for details. NOTE: Any payments within 30 days of arrival are required to be in certified funds or by credit card.

VRBO BOOKINGS: This property is hosted by the management company noted as owner on this site. After booking the property you will be charged a booking fee by VRBO. ALL other fees and the rental amount will be charged by the management company and paid to the management company. Once you have booked on VRBO, you will be contacted by a representative from the management company via phone or email and you will be sent a Lodging Agreement that must be signed to confirm your reservation. Apart from damage protection, all fees associated with the booking are displayed in the VRBO booking. Unless indicated otherwise, Linens/Towels and paper products are NOT INCLUDED.   This was our 2nd time staying at this property and we couldn’t be happier. The location is perfect and the views from the top deck are beautiful. My family of 4 stayed in the bottom unit and my parents stayed in the top unit. Both are clean and had plenty of space for us. We cooked a lot of our dinners at the house and the kitchens were well equipped.

  The house as usual was extremely clean and the rooms well furnished, but not crowded. We have stayed in both the down stairs and upstairs apartments. Each has its own charm. The upstairs deck affords an excellent view of the bay. However it is very hot in the daytime and
  somewhat buggy at night. The downstairs apartment has a screened in
  porch which is useful day and evening, but looks directly into the dune.
  The upstairs kitchen is a bit better furnished with pots, dishes,glassware, utensils, etc., but downstairs certainly adequate.
  The walk to the beach over the dune is somewhat challenging for those over 80. A gradual walk up and over the dune, but because of erosion the last bit is steep particularly on returning from the beautiful beach. The water was very inviting this year, cool and very clear.
  I definitely would recommend this property and have in the past.

  After two years renting a property from Jack Lingo and experiencing extremely bad service for our week beach rental in Lewes, we switched back to Berkshire Hathaway and we’re very happy with the service. When we had a minor issue, it was taken care of right away and the agent and person in the office called and emailed almost immediately to follow up.

  Overall, the property was great, and We would stay there again. Only complaints are...
  *It is listed as having an outdoor shower and there was none.
  *When we turned on the oven it smoked A LOT. The bottom was covered with foil, so we didn't see how dirty it was.

  The location was perfect and for the most part the unit was very clean. The only exception being the coffee pot that was not even usable. The unit is dated and has very basic furnishings but I didn’t come to spend my days inside :). It was a good size for my family of 4 and the easy walk right out the porch door and up the small dune was perfect.
