With 4 + BR, 1 1/2 BA home is steps from the beach in the heart of Dewey Beach. Walk to the ocean, restaurants, shops, bars and watersports on the bay or hop on the Jolly Trolley to the boardwalk in Rehoboth Beach. Home offers a brand new deck with new gas grill, new flooring and fresh interior and exterior paint and siding. W/D, DW, Central Air, WiFi and wonderful outdoor shower. Note: MBR has a powder room only. Ring Doorbell by front door is disabled during rental season. No pets, however owner has had a dog in the property, No smoking in property or on the deck.
The property must be occupied for the entire rental period by the Guest signing the Lodging Agreement (Responsible Guest), and all occupants of the Property shall be supervised by the Responsible Guest. The Responsible Guest must be at least 25 years of age. If the party is made up of unrelated individuals (a group rental where the Responsible Guest is NOT the legal guardian/parent of any other guests), ALL guests occupying the property must be at least 25 years of age.
Guests pay a $150 cleaning fee for all stays. Sheets/towels/paper products are not included, linens are available for rent.
Guests must choose to purchase a $70 Vacation Rental Damage Insurance policy covering $3,000.00 in accidental damage or pay a refundable security deposit of $2,000.00. Policies of a lesser amount are not acceptable.
We accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover Credit Cards and eChecks for your initial deposit. We also accept personal checks for final payments. Final payments are due 30 days prior to your check-in date. NOTE: Any payments within 30 days of arrival require to be in certified funds or by credit card. You will be provided a link to a Guest Portal where you can securely make your payments online.
VRBO BOOKINGS: This property is hosted by the management company noted as owner on this site. After booking the property you will be charged a booking fee by VRBO. ALL other fees and the rental amount will be charged by the management company and paid to the management company. Once you have booked on VRBO, you will be contacted by a representative from the management company via phone or email and you will be sent a Lodging Agreement that must be signed to confirm your reservation. Apart from damage protection, all fees associated with the booking are displayed in the VRBO booking. Unless indicated otherwise, Linens/Towels and paper products are NOT INCLUDED. Guests may rent Linens/Towels through the hosting company or bring their own.

  This beach cottage is on a lovely quiet street. It’s my families favorite area of Dewey! The house was larger than I thought it would be and had lots of room for us to eat and relax. Really nice layout. The outdoor shower is great, especially because the full bathroom is extremely small. Washer/dryer worked great. Overall, the house needs updates - old carpet and rugs - but I would stay again.

  We love Dewey Beach and have stayed on Collins Street many times. This was our first time at the 13B property. It's a charming original beach cottage. It's proximity to the beach was key as we have little ones. The cottage itself was clean and a good size for our family. I loved that it was set back from the street and had a nice deck. The one thing it's lacking is a second indoor shower or a bathtub (which we knew when we booked it). The outdoor shower helped; however, the mosquitos were really bad and we all got bit up pretty bad. (I realize that, unfortunately, you can't do much about mosquitos outside.) There was also a problem with ants, which is common in the summer. The kitchen smelled of ant spray when we first arrived so we knew to keep an eye out and be careful with food. When more started showing up, we called property management and they brought out some ant traps for us which did help. We also ran into the owners of the cottage who were very nice and welcoming. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at 13B Collins and would stay there again in the future!

  This is the second time we stayed here. We absolutely love the location and the space, there is enough room for our family. However, this year there were quite a few things that we found unfavorable. The bathrooms are very outdated and the powder room in the one bedroom smelled like urine, especially from the carpet. You really couldn't get past it. The minifridge froze the beverages, the AC units smelled like mildew, and the cottage was not very clean overall. We enjoyed the location, the vintage charm, and the privacy.
