This nicely appointed bay front unit in Port Lewes is the perfect place to spend your vacation.

This three story unit has a first floor bedroom with hall bath. The third floor has another bedroom as well as a bay front master bathroom with its own bath.

The second floor is where you will find the main living room, kitchen and dining area. Directly off of the living room you can walk out onto the large deck where you can take in the beautiful bay views.

Spend the day on the beach, rent a paddle board and test your skills or take a dip in the community pool. With it just a short ride to the Cape Henlopen State Park or to the Dairy Queen for ice cream you want to be sure to bring your bikes!

All guests must supply their own sheets, towels and beach towels or OPT in for our linen rental package.

This property does not allow pets.

The property must be occupied for the entire rental period by the Guest signing the Lodging Agreement (Responsible Guest), and all occupants of the Property shall be supervised by the Responsible Guest. The Responsible Guest must be at least 25 years of age. If the party is made up of unrelated individuals (a group rental where the Responsible Guest is NOT the legal guardian/parent of any other guests), ALL guests occupying the property must be at least 25 years of age.

We accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover Credit Cards and eChecks for your initial deposit. We also accept personal checks for final payments. Final payments are due 30 days prior to your check-in date. NOTE: Any payments within 30 days of arrival require to be in certified funds or by credit card. You will be provided a link to a Guest Portal where you can securely make your payments online.

  We had great time on the beach this June. The weather was perfect, with only one half of the day being rainy. We are renting in this community every year starting from 2021, and often rent several times over the summer. This community is a hidden gem, and Margret, our agent at Penfed Realty, is very helpful and professional.

  The property was very clean when we arrived. It is laid out nicely for a family or even two. The view of the bay is lovely. Everything was attractive and comfortable as well. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything you would need. Guests with mobility issues or visual impairments will find the stairs challenging however.

  This unit has been a long term rental for us over the years b/c of its great location, community amenities, & community management. The unit's owners do make positive upgrades from year to year. The cleaning crew is not the greatest & this year we were surprised to find a lot of large cobwebs throughout the unit that looked like they'd been there for a while - a bit disturbing. Too, our normal scheduled week seemed to have changed this year w/o any explanation...

  As we were unpacking our car we were approached by a neighbor who told us, "This is a quiet community. I hope you're not going to have any loud parties." I thought his was quite aggressive and not the friendliest of welcomes. Also, for a unit that can sleep 8 or more people and has dining seating for 12, the kitchen was woefully under equipped, (5 drinking glasses, 2 juice glasses, 3 soup bowls, you get the idea.) Further, there was no empty cupboard space for renter's groceries. Adding a pantry cabinet or sideboard in the kitchen dining area - and a new set of dishes/glassware -would be a great improvement. Overall nice unit/location but needs some tweaking.
