Located bay front on Prime Hook Beach! This three bedroom cottage is set up for easy living. Three bedrooms offer sleeping for six with an additional sleeper sofa in the living area. There is one full bathroom in the main house with a shower stall plus an outside shower to keep the sand out of the house. The living area and dining are combined just off of the kitchen. From the rear of the house, it's a quick walk out to the beachfront gazebo and beach. Hurry to book your vacation week in this cute cottage right on the water.

Guests must choose to purchase a $70 Vacation Rental Damage Insurance policy covering $3,000.00 in accidental damage, or pay a refundable security deposit of $2,000.00. Policies of a lesser amount are not acceptable. This amount will not be reflected in the quote amount on VRBO.

The property must be occupied for the entire rental period by the Guest signing the Lodging Agreement (Responsible Guest), and all occupants of the Property shall be supervised by the Responsible Guest. The Responsible Guest must be at least 25 years of age. If the party is made up of unrelated individuals (a group rental where the Responsible Guest is NOT the legal guardian/parent of any other guests), ALL guests occupying the property must be at least 25 years of age.

We accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover Credit Cards and eChecks for your initial deposit. We also accept personal checks for final payments. Final payments are due 30 days prior to your check-in date. NOTE: Any payments within 30 days of arrival require to be in certified funds or by credit card. You will be provided a link to a Guest Portal where you can securely make your payments online.

VRBO BOOKINGS: This property is hosted by the management company noted as Owner on VRBO. After booking the property you will be charged a booking fee by VRBO. ALL other fees and the rental amount will be charged by the management company and paid to the management company. Once you have booked you will be contacted by the management company and sent a Lodging Agreement that must be signed. Apart from Damage Protection, all fees associated with the booking are displayed in the VRBO booking.

  this is our 3rd year at this home. Very quaint little cottage on the beach with a gazebo on the dune. Great fully equipped kitchen, I love to cook so it was a plus. would like to have notice we no longer had access to the shed with beach chairs, boogie boards and kids sand toys, always did in the past.   Adorable cottage with great location, simple furnishings, and ease of booking. Although it's showing wear and tear since our last visit four years ago, you can tell they're doing their best to keep it quaint and affordable. The countertop upgrade was a nice surprise! Fun beach for all, great covered deck, and would recommend to anyone.

  Steps to the water. Love the gazebo! Great to sit and have coffee as you wake. The weather was not on our side so we missed 4 days on the bay. Very nice place to stay other wise.

  Primehook Beach is a great place for peace, quiet, and enjoyment of the outdoors. This cottage has a wonderfully wild, sandy yard and a gazebo from which to take it all in. The cottage could be fantastic, but has some serious drawbacks. The kitchen counter is peeling paint on some sort of surface, which simply cannot be effectively cleaned -- wouldn't consider really cooking there; definitely would not want to feed kids there. Chipped kitchen sink with two dirty sponges was a turn-off. The middle bedroom storage chest emanated a very strong smell of moth balls, though it was closed. Covering it with plastic helped somewhat. The bedding in that closet for the two small bedrooms smelled strongly of moth balls and had to be washed the evening we arrived. The ceiling fan blades were filthy, so we didn't use them. Smaller things like a plastic woven chair near the entrance that is unraveling and unsightly; the coffee pot missing the top piece so didn't work (management company dropped of a brand new one the day we reported it); the guest information notebook had brochures about the ferry from 2018; all just felt like a general lack of interest in the guest experience. A very basic kitchen remodel, a good cleaning (please note that floors and bathroom were clean) would make this a fantastic place. As it was, we felt it must be on the verge of being scraped and is a cash cow as is. Management was helpful.

  The kitchen is in need of a renovation. Sink leaks, cabinet doors are falling apart, tiles are not secure. I reached out to both the agent and the property owner who claim to be unaware. There is growing dust accumulation on the walls, the ceiling fans etc. Instead of replacing broken blinds, there are paper towels taped across them. The views are great. The property is in rough shape.

  Come on in! The water is fine! Here is your invitation to a lovely beach home where the water is calm and warm! An outside shower makes for easy sand free barefootin’ luxuriating inside! The airy architectural cathedral ceiling gives way to multiple fans for a breezy way to drink in the feeling of vacation. Great space for Families with little ones, we invited our grandchildren over from where they were staying, a short walk away. Just like days of old where Families lived close... instead of all staying in the same place - we rented a couple of places to walk and bike back and forth to each other the whole stay! Did I mention this place is chock full of boardgames and has a kayak with oars? I could go on, but I’ll stop here, with this last gem... sunrise coffee in the beach pergola... enough said!

  We loved this location, home is beautiful and the beautiful gazebo on the dune. Fully stocked kitchen, knowing that would have saved a ton of packing because I love to cook. Everything was amazing, must have is the outdoor shower. Only complaint is the the window air conditioners, noisy and that first step out the back door. We did end up having daughter and kids come for the day and she brought her exercise step thing. Fell in the door the within hour of first day. Trying to get up that step while holding the heavy glass door. Definitely would rent again!

  wake up to a view of a beautiful sunrise every morning from the master bedroom - i love the large windows that open wide and being able to listen to the waves all night - I like the one story / smaller size of the house - just a feel that you don't get in a larger house.
