This two bedroom house on the beach side of Lewes is centrally located with an easy walk to beach or town.
The main floor has the living area, dining and kitchen as well as the main bedroom and full bathroom. This floor also has the laundry room and is cooled with Central A/C. The second floor (a converted attic space) is set up as a "dorm room" with four single beds. This room has an a/c unit.

Relax on the large front deck before heading out to the beach for the day!

Pets are not permitted at this property

All guests must supply their own sheets, towels and beach towels or OPT in for our linen rental package.

The property must be occupied for the entire rental period by the Guest signing the Lodging Agreement (Responsible Guest), and all occupants of the Property shall be supervised by the Responsible Guest. The Responsible Guest must be at least 25 years of age. If the party is made up of unrelated individuals (a group rental where the Responsible Guest is NOT the legal guardian/parent of any other guests), ALL guests occupying the property must be at least 25 years of age.

Guests must choose to purchase a $70 Vacation Rental Damage Insurance policy covering $3,000.00 in accidental damage or pay a refundable security deposit of $2,000.00. Policies of a lesser amount are not acceptable. This is an additional fee that will NOT be included on VRBO.

We accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover Credit Cards for your initial deposit. Final payments are due 30 days prior to your arrival date, and will be automatically charged to your card on file if not paid prior to the due date. If you’d like to make a payment with a personal check or eCheck, please contact your agent for details. NOTE: Any payments within 30 days of arrival are required to be in certified funds or by credit card.

VRBO BOOKINGS: This property is hosted by the management company noted as owner on this site. After booking the property you will be charged a booking fee by VRBO. ALL other fees and the rental amount will be charged by the management company and paid to the management company. Once you have booked on VRBO, you will be contacted by a representative from the management company via phone or email and you will be sent a Lodging Agreement that must be signed to confirm your reservation. Apart from damage protection, all fees associated with the booking are displayed in the VRBO booking. Unless indicated otherwise, Linens/Towels and paper products are NOT INCLUDED. Guests may rent Linens/Towels through the hosting company or bring their own.

  We had rented a house near this one from PenFed 4 years ago and had a positive experience. This one was smaller and appeared to have less amenities (that was incorrect) and was cheaper. We planned on only 4 of us (2 grandparents; 2 grandsons) but had a mom for a few days and an aunt for the week. We had a very positive experience. The very small issues were a few things like a few light bulbs burned out, the ice maker not working (but 1 bag and 3 trays of ice dumped in the ice maker bin once provided crushed ice for the week). It's got some homemade features, but well-constructed and maintained. All appliances worked great. Bathroom worked great. Plenty of shelves and drawers. The entry room has 2 sofas and a chair. The kitchen is between the entry room and the sunroom with the futon, a couch, and a table. We enjoyed Crooked Hammock, Nectar, and Bethany Blues. No bad restaurants; relatives live in the area and recommended these. We thoroughly enjoyed renting bikes from SeaGreen and riding in Cape Henlopen Park. We rented from Lewes Cycles 4 years ago and had a positive experience, but apparently now you have to reserve bikes in advance.

  It was easy to check in and get the keys even though we got there later than check in time and after they closed. I wish check in wasn’t so late but I understand they have to have enough time to clean the place. My husband and 4 young kids stayed here for a week. It was mostly comfortable. Plenty of room but the kids attic bedroom was REALLY hot even with the AC unit on up there. I also wish the bedrooms were able to get darker. There was plenty of space for kids to run around and it was reasonably close to the beach.

  BHHS is easy to work with and very professional. The location of this house is great. Walk to town or beach or ice cream! A bit noisy across the street at the B&B but it’s a minor issue. House is clean and comfortable but a little run down - attention to light fixtures and bulbs - and please, a few basic amenities (e.g. toilet paper!!) needed!

  I go on vacation alone for a week every Spring and Fall. Had a great time at this property. Front deck is great for morning and early afternoon sun and the back deck is great for the afternoon. Close to the beach and has everything you need for a great vacation.

  Pros- The house has a good location and plenty of parking. The back room is a great extra space for all of us to spread out. Cons- The outdoor shower and decks are getting pretty worn down. Also, the indoor furnishings are pretty uncomfortable. Master bedroom has the smallest “queen” sized bed. Be prepared to bring your own coffee mug, plates, and silverware (or do the dishes twice a day).

  Fun and clean and everything works, with everything you need
  Walk to beach (4 blocks?) and avoid parking lot meters
  Was worried but it turned out great! Not super updated but beds comfortable for most part, kitchen all functioning and modern, and bathrooms quirky but functional, outside shower a fun treat after the beach. We would stay here again!
